Looks like I’m going to be having about as close as I get to a birthday party down at Kulture Friday night.

Some friends of mine are opening a new resturant/bar in Brevard, NC. It’s called The Square Root.

They are opening up tomorrow. So if you are in the area, drop by.
Just talked to them on the phone. It was kind of weird exchanging stories about trying to open a bar (at least, by proxy, in my case). Being non geeks, they don’t quite have the web site up yet.
Anyone in the Raleigh area know of a bank/etc that has change counting machines that do not charge a large fee like the coinstar machines. I’ve got several years worth of change I need to get rid of (by my estimate, ~$900) and would prefer to avoid the coinstar machines. Bonus points if it’s a BB&T.

Kind of depressing that of the 100 items on that list, I’ve only see 1. And that was “New York Skyline” at #84.
So I’ve been tasked with trying to update the set of default brushes included with GIMP for it’s 2.4 stable release.
So, since this gets syndicated in a couple of planets for free/open graphics software, I figured I’d ask if anyone has any interesting brushes they would like to see included by default. High res brushes and brushes demonstration the brush pipes in particular would be good, but I’m interested in seeing what folks have.
