Spent the morning running some errands before work, then some errands over a long lunch, then out of work kind of early to head to the Rush show at Walnut Creek. Just got home.

Good Rush show. A fair amount of stuff off the new album I hadn’t heard, but will probably pick up now.
I now remember why I was at Kulture so much. My apartment is kind of boring.
Just got home from the last night of Kulture under the current management/owner.
I had mixed emotions about it myself. But the timing is right I believe. And I think things seems to be working out well. I can’t complain.
The place was pretty packed, as could be expected given the super cheap drinks. Seemed to go pretty well. Only downside was that a lot of the regulars were out of town this weekend.
I for one, enjoyed the evening quite a bit.

Kulture is being sold to new owners, so this week is the last week in it’s current incarnation. Saturday is slated as a day to get rid of some spare alcohol in a hurry. So if you want to get your drink on, I’d come out to Kulture this saturday night. As in two days from now. Drinks will be cheap.
Don “Mr Wizard” Herbert died today. I suggest everyone go home and make a vinegar and baking soda volcano in memory.
I don’t know what is odder. That Nuno Bettencourt is now in a band with Perry Farrell. Or that I immediatedly recognized him when I saw them on tv.
