Went over to the Nightlight last
night. Saw Raoul Bjorkenheim and Lukas Ligeti, and Jazzkammer.

Bjorkenheim and Ligeti are guitar/drums duet. Kind of
an interesting slightly avant fusion. Aka, the guitar
work was fusiony at times, but often on processed and
prepared guitars. Drum work was similar, sometimes being
fairly straight forward but well executed standard
rock and jazz drumming, and at times, more of an
experimental take, with odd percussion bits thrown in.
The guitarist seem to sport some Belew, Holdsworth, and
Mclaughlin influences at times, in addition to the weirder
noisy improv stuff. Pretty cool.

Jazzkammer were both less traditional (as compared to
mainstream music) and more traditional (as compared to
electronic based free improv). Ie, three guys sitting
at a table making weird noises.
