How many books do you own? Bound books, hardcover or paperback. Unless they are obviously intended to be books, exclude stapled items. Just go to your bookcase, and start counting. Feel free to count in whatever order pleases you, noting the books at first, last and 100’s places.

I used the alphabetical list from librarything.
I’m not much of a reader, so this is probably pretty lame.

Bonus Question #1: What book did you almost land on, that you wished you had: Hand to earth : Andy Goldsworthy sculpture, 1976-1990 (the near misses were pretty boring as per most of my collection)
Bonus Question #2: What did this obviously miss? No Oreily books, no motorcycle books, no petroski or goldsworthy books. What exactly is an obvious miss?
