Attempting to run errands was a mistake. Glad I didn't go into work today.
Reddit/digg etc seem to be dominated by posts about cults these days. I'm not sure if the scientology or the gtd folks scare me more. If I could figure out how to sell e-meters to productivity types, I could make a fortune. Maybe something once I clear off the todo list.

Totally forgot about Henry Rollins being in town tonight. Enjoyed the spoken word/standup/storytelling gig I caught at Lincoln Theater a few years ago. "I'm a trekkie for King Crimson!".
I don't buy as many shoes as some people. But I ordered some shoes from Zappos last night at 10pm, and they were sitting outside the door this morning. Pretty impressive.

I finally got rid of my piece of crap car and got a new truck. 2008 Toyota Tacoma.
Nothing fancy, but it works.

In other news, I've had an awesome Christmas. Much gift giving and receiving.

Christmas shopping is probably ~80% done at this point. Which puts me far a head of my usual status at this point.
The Eee PC seems pretty cool. It seems to do what it claims.
I need to figure out some sort of shared storage and backup system for my personal machines. I have a desktop, and soon to be 4 laptops[1]. And I have stuff randomly spread across all of them. I need to at least consolidate the photo storage. And meaningful backups would be handy. Offsite network accessible storage would be nice as well.
