Christmas shopping is probably ~80% done at this point. Which puts me far a head of my usual status at this point.
The Eee PC seems pretty cool. It seems to do what it claims.
I need to figure out some sort of shared storage and backup system for my personal machines. I have a desktop, and soon to be 4 laptops[1]. And I have stuff randomly spread across all of them. I need to at least consolidate the photo storage. And meaningful backups would be handy. Offsite network accessible storage would be nice as well.

I can’t dream of having so many laptops and a desktop computer, I just imagine spending too much time running from one to the other to find the stuff I need.
