1. bruce cockburn:
   folk/rock musician with a strong policital slant. Music tends to be heavily layered and intricate and electric, with biting lyrics. Example song (“if I had a rocket launcher…”)
2. delays:
   delays, of the musical variety, aka, an echo. An inherently music effect, in my opinion. I have lots and lots of them.
3. faith no more:
   great band, best albums were after there big hit. Check out “Angel Dust”.
4. intp:
   intp, meyer-briggs/etc personality type. What I am.
5. leo kottke:
   another musician. acoustic fingerstyle guitar. Very intricate and driving. Pretty cool.
6. mustangs:
   I had a 65 convertible in high school, got a 65 now. Which I need to get back to working on.
7. phasers:
   another guitar pedal/effect. Give stuff kind of a rotating bubbling type sound
8. redhat:
   where I work. the linux distro I use.
9. the gimp:
   open source image editing and manipulation program. At one point in time, I used to hack on it a bit and ran the web site.
10. tufte:
    edward tufte, author and data visualization expert. Check out his books, very cool.
